Great food and service!! Had all you can eat fish, homemade onion rings, mussels, and bitterly shrimp. All were fantastic!

We were hungry for fish but didn't want a franchise. This was our first stop at Eadies. We couldn't find a place to park and both of us took that as a positive indication of the quality of the restaurant. We decided to sit outside. It was the perfect thing to do and the flies didn't find us until we were finished with the meal. I had a shrimp cocktail and the broiled platter-tonight's selection was salmon, a skewer of shrimp and an amazing crabcake. Haggy had been hungry for crab or lobster so she chose the lobster tails. We were both delighted with the service with the want yummy drinks, with the seafood and with the delightful folks that we met nearby.

The atmosphere was reminiscent of my backwater bayou days outside of Nawlins. Service was decent and the food was delicious. The onion rings are a must! The battered cod was done well. I'll be back again for sure.

Great place, wonderful atmosphere....and best yet great food. Onion rings off the charts and if you grew up on hush puppies they are wonderful. Must visit if in North Canton.

$13.99 for a perch sandwich that was as big as a slider! You gotta be kidding me. Only rip me off once. Two bite size sandwiches and an order of onion rings..... $32 bucks.

Good southern style alligator. Nice selection of beach drinks. Sitting on the porch listening to the acoustic music you could almost swear the ocean was nearby.

Hands-down, best seafood in the area. It's not fancy. Some consider it a "dive" restaurant. It reminds me of something you'd find down south by the beach. The fish is great. The clam chowdah is great. The shrimp is great. It's down a little side street, never would know it was there. Go find it now!

Fresh seafood, great service and atmosphere. Don't come here if you're looking for some pretentious 5 star vibe, come here to kick back, relax, have a beer and shoot the shit with your awesome server. Keep in mind, seafood prices for a locally owned restaurant in canton are not super cheap. It's not a chain folks, they don't have the buying power. But what you pay for is damn good!

2.5 Stars. If you like fried, unseasoned fish this place is for you. This is a small, shack like place that I actually found to be quite charming. It felt like it was a local spot next to the ocean that you would stumble upon during a tropical vacation. We went in the dead of winter, but they have a large patio area - probably as big as the entire dining area inside. We had great service (which is why I actually bumped it a half star) - our waiter was helpful on several occasions and checked in on us regularly. It seems like a fun place...despite not caring for the food at all I could see myself coming back here for a beer and relaxing on the patio. So, the aforementioned food was not what I was hoping for. The clam chowder tasted like an unseasoned version of canned chunky soup. Which was just thickened cream and potatoes...ate two bites and gave the rest away. The perch was simply coated in corn meal and fried...not bad, but nothing to it. My crab cake was ok, but pretty boring as well. They serve the meals with three sauces: cocktail, tarter, and a special onion ring sauce. The two former sauces were not good at all, but I did like the ring sauce...I ended up using that on several of the items I got. Speaking of the onion rings they are as good as advertised - other than, again, not being seasoned. This may be preference, but when you fry something there is nothing like salting it as soon as it comes out of the fryer. Anyway, I still enjoyed them. However, probably the best thing I tried was my wife's fish tacos - they at least were decent. I'm not used to eating that much fried food so I didn't particularly feel well after my meal so all in all it was not a great experience for us. I can't see my going back here for dinner but it actually is a cool little place with nice service. I hope to check it out in the summer on the patio.

Great hidden treasure. Excellent service and great limited menu. Most is fried but we had a wonderful meal. We would definitely come back.

  • Karen H.

Awesome! Some of the best perch I have ever eaten. Huge piece of delicious broiled cod. I am expecting my Key Lime Pie to be just as good. We feel like we are in Florida!

  • Catrina D.

What a hidden gem! Came upon this place one night accidentally and it was a pleasant surprise! We had calamari as an appetizer and it was delicious, I had a fish dinner with cole slaw (which i typically hate) but I decided to try it and Oh my gosh! I could eat a whole bucket of it, it was awesome! Only reason i gave it three stars is because it's a little pricey, also not a very good kid friendly atmosphere but we would go back and their is nothing bad to say about the food!

  • Michael K.

I'm not a seafood person, but I love the burgers here and you have to try the beer batter fries! Its not a large place and it gets packed on Fridays, so be prepared to wait.

Great fried seafood. My wife and I enjoyed the very relaxing comfortable atmosphere. The beer batter was great both on the fish and onion rings.

Eadies is very small inside but reminds you of being in Florida! A lot of the menu is fried. I recommend the alligator.

  • Craig G.

I've driven by this place for 8-9 years and never noticed it. I'm glad we stopped in. The atmosphere reminds me of being on vacation in Florida - which I love! I had the Mixed Grill, which was a small piece of Salmon, 3 Shrimp, 2 Crap cakes and a salad. It wasn't bad. My wife had the Coconut Shrimp and fries, which was quite tasty. The prices aren't too bad and we couldn't complain about the food. The atmosphere was awesome. We'll be back.

Skip it. We were seated and then spent 15 minutes watching servers, bus boy and hosts walk by our table without even offering a menu. The place isn't big enough to miss anything - there's literally only 12 or so tables. And they weren't busy. Apparently, every server thought we were someone else's problem. Well, now we're no one's problem. Got up and walked out, passing the employees who had ignored us. Another employee wished us a "good night" as we exited.

  • Angel H.

The restaurant is small inside. They have a lot of specials but since I was using a coupon I could not get them. There was a nice selection of food but mostly deep fried options. We had the beer battered fish and fries . We Also had a salmon salad that was good. Overall it's not cheap to eat but the food is good. Definitely worth the visit.

Yelp lists the name as Easies-Larenzo's Italian Pizza, but the business at this location is Eadies Fish House and Grill. I asked the waitress and she says that this has never been an Italian restaurant or a pizza joint. They started out as an ice cream stand on Route 62 that also sold fried fish. The business opened a second location here on Wise Road with a full sit-down restaurant and another ice cream stand next door. Their specialty is a fried cod dinner in their secret beer-batter. In addition to fish, they have a smoker that they use for their chicken wings and ribs (when they are on special). The atmosphere at Eadies is cool - there are numerous seating areas, some inside, some outside and some on open air porch areas. We were there on a nice summer evening and it was great to sit in the open air seating with a nice bottle of Sangria. I had planned on going down for some blackened Cajun fish, but they got me with their special prices. I think the deal was a half-pound of butterflied fried shrimp, huge onion rings, and cole slaw for $6.95. Add a piece of fried cod for $3 more. I couldn't pass that up, and ended up eating way too much fried food instead of something healthier. Mary Ellen opted for the fried oysters and they were yummy. My dinner came with three kinds of sauces; a good cocktail sauce for the shrimp, tartar sauce, and a secret sauce for the onion rings. They don't skimp on the cocktail sauce, I think it came in a 24-ounce squeeze bottle. This is good! Specials on the menu included alligator tail and several steaks, so there is something for everyone here. The location seems to be just off the beaten path. They are one-block east of Whipple, less than a mile north of Everhard. I actually stumbled upon it when I turned on Wise by mistake. The one small problem is that they have more tables than they have parking spots. We were there on a Thursday night and parking was tight.

Loved the ambience they have created here. It reminds me of a few of the dockside seafood joints I've been to in Florida and the Carolinas. The place is small with very little waiting area, but the fact that they need it counts for something. This was our third attempt to try it, but the first that people weren't waiting outside. We had beer batter fish sandwiches with fries and hush puppies. The fish was good, though in my opinion not as good as Tim's Tavern (although I haven't been to Tim's for some time). The hush puppies were very good, but could use a dipping sauce like they serve in the Carolina seafood houses. They have a decent beverage menu and the service was efficient and pleasant.

    (3)
  • Jed S.

Food is always consistent here as is the service. Makes me miss the Gulf Coast down south where I'm from. Could use a few more healthy options but overall is a hidden gem in Canton.

I will be giving this place another try, but I have to be honest about what happened today. I was sent there because they have "the best coney in North Canton.' That is not my quote, that is what I was told. So despite it being a fish place I wanted to try the coney. I understand that was my choice and my fault, but be that as it may that's what went down. The bun is average, the dog itself was nice and salty, which is good because that coney sauce is ketchup (a word which here means sugar) and ground beef. So, so, so sweet. I'm not into that. Chili is a meat based dish and as such is a savory dish, it shouldn't be so sweet that I salt and mustard it to cut the sugar. The onion rings looked pretty good, a little over cooked, but still good. The taste however... I tasted no onion, which is not okay. I want to taste onions in my ring, otherwise i'm just eating fried batter, which might be okay if the batter in question had some flavor. Sigh. This looks like some flour and seltzer (it's a tempura style batter) were swished together w/ nary a thought of salt or pepper or some such flavor being introduced. Blegh. The rings were served with a house sauce. I think it is supposed to be like Outback's "bloom sauce" in that it is pink, but the resemblance ends there. I salted and peppered that to high heaven trying to inject some life into it. Also, the cook came out to the porch for a smoke break, which meant I, the non-smoker, dining patron, took a smoke break with him. My coney had a decidedly carcinogenic aftertaste to it as such. Yay. I'll be back to try the fish (though I'm concerned about the batter) and the crab cakes, but I will warn you friends, this is not the best coney in North Canton. There's a Sonic in North Canton and I'd rather eat myself to death on their footlongs Seven style than have another coney from Eadie's.

Eadie's Seafood, the best seafood I have had in the Northeast Ohio area! If you enjoy seafood and also prefer a southern style environment, this is the place to go. Their prices are reasonable and they have quality food. A definite must try... Be sure to try the crab cakes and key lime pie :-)
